The Buzz is Being Heard Globally, Don't Wait.... Now is the Time to Get on Top of the Social Media Explosion

 Social Media Marketing, Online

Branding and Relationship Building

 What is Attraction Marketing?

Branding Yourself or Your Business Online Using Social Media Sites and Blogging to Build Trusted Business Relationships = Attraction Marketing

It's simple! Attraction Marketing is the process of becoming the hunted instead of the hunter by branding yourself or a product to your audience through the sharing of useful information. The information you share will build a trusting relationship with your followers and deem you as an "expert" in your area, branding yourself as someone people want to seek out for business purposes.

Getting back to the basics, it's the rebirth of the....You help me and I'll help you "relationship building" theory. It's like going back to old school marketing in the days where people did business with someone because they knew, liked and trusted them.... unlike recent times where the company with the biggest advertising budget wins (which by the way, is a dying statistic). Throwback means the reappearance of an earlier characteristic, attraction marketing is just that....Throwback Marketing!

Why Would I Consider Attraction Marketing?

How About: 80 Million Generation Y'ers

Generation Y'ers are being called "Digital Natives". Simply put, they were brought up on digital technology and that is how they communicate & learn. Cell phones, Internet, instant messaging, text messaging, social networks, online college courses, etc... When someone from Generation Y needs any type of information they turn to a digital source.

How often do you see a Gen Y'er pick up a phonebook? How about a newspaper? Or even a piece of paper to write a letter? Need I state the obvious....if you don't consider moving towards digital marketing, unfortunately you and your business could quickly become dinosaurs. Gen Y'ers are the next/current wave of customers/prospects...... in order to be noticed with them it will be crucial to meet them on their terms and go where they are.
